1. Polypolis_Roma open call: NEW
SARCHA’s proposal to participate at the Urban Transcripts events in Rome has been selected http://news.urbantranscripts.org/ A SARCHA working team will be formed following this open call and will undertake the design of the Polypolis_Roma version for the game. The team will work in Rome in collaboration with the ROMA 3 School of architecture http://www.architettura.uniroma3.it/indice.html for a week, December 13-17, 2011; its task is to select a city block, map its resources, design the Roma game board and organize a public playing of the game. The event is held under the auspices of the Embassy of Greece in Rome. There is no payment or participation fee and those interested should cover their travelling and accommodation expenses in Rome. If they happen to be in Athens they are welcomed to join the first coordination discussion at the Tainiothiki meeting on Saturday 19/11/2011 (see above).

3. Polypolis_Thessaloniki meeting at the New Town Hall
A first coordination meeting to discuss with all those interest to participate has been scheduled in Thessaloniki at the New Town Hall, 1 Vasileos Georgiou Street on December 3, 2011, at 17.30. Those interested who cannot attend, will be informed by e-mail on the ways they can contribute in the design of Polypolis_Thessaloniki
4. Polypolis at Tainiothiki
Following a preliminary discussion, the general secretary of the board of directors of the Greek Film Archive foundation (Tainiothiki), Dr Maria Kοmninos offered SARCHA the possibility to use the Lais Premises to hold meetings and initiate collaboration for the adaptation of the Polypolis social game in a way that involves inhabitants of the adjacent to the Tainiothiki area. The first of such meeting will be held on Saturday November 19, 2011 (see above details and agenda). The meeting will start at 18.00 and finish at 20.00 so that the participants have the chance to continue their evening attending the screening of films scheduled in the context of the Tainiothiki programme http://www.tainiothiki.gr/

Η SARCHA ξεκινά μια συνεργασία με την ταινιοθήκη της Ελλάδος με την διοργάνωση ανοικτής συνάντησης στο φουαγιέ του κινηματογράφου Λαίς (Ιερά Οδός 48 & Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου -Μετρό Κεραμεικός) το Σάββατο 19 Νοεμβρίου 2011, 18.00-20.00. Η πρόταση συμμετοχής της SARCHA στο πρόγραμμα Urban Transcripts στη Ρώμη έγινε δεκτή http://news.urbantranscripts.org/ Μια ομάδα εργασίας SARCHA θα δημιουργηθεί σε συνέχεια της παρούσης ανοικτής πρόσκλησης και θα αναλάβει το σχεδιασμό της παραλλαγής Polypolis_Roma του παιγνιδιού. Η ομάδα θα εργαστεί στη Ρώμη σε συνεργασία με τη σχολή αρχιτεκτονικής του Πανεπιστημίου ROMA 3 http://www.architettura.uniroma3.it/indice.html για μια εβδομάδα 13-17/12/ 2011; Το έργο της αφορά την επιλογή ενός οικοδομικού τετραγώνου, την χαρτογράφηση των πόρων του, το σχεδιασμό του ταμπλώ και τη δημόσια παρουσίαση/παίξιμο του Polypolis_Roma . Η εκδήλωση βρίσκεται υπό την αιγίδα της ελληνικής πρεσβείας στη Ρώμη. Δεν προβλέπεται αμοιβή ούτε κόστος συμμετοχής και όσοι ενδιαφέρονται θα πρέπει να καλύψουν τα έξοδα μετακίνησης και διαμονής τους στη Ρώμη. Περισσότερες πληροφορίες θα αναρτηθούν στο http://www.sarcha.gr/AnnounceSarcha.aspx στις 20/11/2011. Μια πρώτη συνάντηση συντονισμού για να γνωριστούν όσοι έχουν δηλώσει το ενδιαφέρον τους να συμμετάσχουν προγραμματίζεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη στο Νέο Δημαρχείο, Βασιλέως Γεωργίου 1, στις 3 Δεκεμβρίου 2011, 17.30. Όσοι έχουν δηλώσει ενδιαφέρον συμμετοχής αλλά δεν μπορούν να παρακολουθήσουν την συνάντηση θα πληροφορηθούν μέσω ε-μαιλ τους τρόπους με του οποίους μπορούν να συμβάλλουν στο σχεδιασμό του Polypolis_Thessaloniki
4. Polypolis στην Ταινιοθήκη
Σε συνέχεια προκαταρκτικών συζητήσεων, η γενική γραμματέας του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Ταινιοθήκης της Ελλάδος Δρ Μαρία Κομνηνού προσέφερε στη SARCHA τη δυνατότητα να χρησιμοποιεί τους χώρους του κινηματογράφου Λαίς για συναντήσεις ώστε να ξεκινήσει μια συνεργασία για την προσαρμογή του κοινωνικού παιγνιδιού Polypolis με τρόπο που να εμπλέξει τους κατοίκους της γύρω από την Ταινιοθήκη περιοχής. Η πρώτη από αυτές τις συναντήσεις θα πραγματοποιηθεί το Σάββατο 19 Νοεμβρίου 2011 (βλ. παραπάνω λεπτομέρειες και πρόγραμμα συνάντησης). Η συνάντηση θα αρχίσει στις 18.00 και θα τελειώσει στις 20.00 ώστε οι συμμετέχοντες να έχουν την ευκαιρία να συνεχίσουν την βραδιά τους παρακολουθώντας ταινίες που προβάλλονται στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος της Ταινιοθήκης. http://www.tainiothiki.gr/
